Dr. Marshall May is an experienced, knowledgeable dentist who genuinely enjoys getting to know his patients.
Dr. May completed his undergraduate studies at Lubbock Christian University and earned his dental degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. After practicing in Tyler, he joined Troup Family Dental in September 2012.
Along with cosmetic and general dentistry, Dr. May has pursued advanced training in molar root canal therapy, impacted wisdom tooth removal, orthodontics, and advanced practice management. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and East Texas Dental Society.

Service beyond the office
Dr. May is passionate about missions and serving under-resourced communities. His service has included Troup Family Dental’s annual Free Dental Day, Texas Mission of Mercy, projects in Mexico and the Texas border region, and mission work in Arequipa, Peru and San Juan Pueblo, Honduras.
At home in East Texas
He values the people and community of Troup, enjoys serving at church, and loves time with his wife Erin, their daughter Ella, sons Jude and Gideon, and friends. His interests include running, hunting, the outdoors, basketball, and especially snow skiing. He remains a loyal Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs fan.
